If you have been diagnosed as having a ‘Kapha’ problem then you will have one or more of the following symptoms

Digestion  Nausea
Tired or sleepy after a meal

Earache (Otitis media, glue ear)
Ear/nose/throat problems

Pitta diet

If you have been diagnosed as having a ‘Pitta’ problem then your metabolic system is overheating causing symptoms of ‘heat’ in the body. The Pitta zone is the middle part of the body which includes the lower 1/3 of the stomach (high acid area), small intestine, liver and pancreas. Pitta governs all the metabolic processes of the body.

You will have one or more of the following symptoms

Digestion [Especially when stressed] Acid reflux
Burping
Heartburn
Strong odour to stools [poo]
Liver problems [Liver has a tendency to over heat]
Mental or emotional symptoms [Especially when stressed] Irritable [e.g. from wasted time, queues, traffic]
Angry
Impatient
Frustrated
Resentful
Skin Skin rashes with redness or swelling
Allergic skin rashes
Eczema
Dermatitis
Hives
Blood circulation   Blood pressure [or in family history]
Heart condition [or in family history]
Headaches   Constant general headache and/or

Throbbing or pulsating headache
Migraines with nausea or vomiting

Vata diet

If you are diagnosed as having a ‘Vata’ problem then your nervous system has been under stress for too long

You will have one or more of the following symptoms

Digestion [Especially when stressed] Bloating
Wind, flatulence
Gurgling in abdomen
Constipation that can alternate with diarrhoea
Mental or emotional symptoms [Especially when stressed] Often anxious or worried
Sensitive
Over reactive
Changeable moods

Waking during the night
Difficulty getting back to sleep
Light sleep, waking easily or from slight noise
